Pear-Shaped Jug
A terracotta jug shaped like a pear, with a red color and polished surface, adorned with granulated edges, used for household purposes to store liquids like water, animal products, and oil. The special care in making this vessel and its decoration adds artistic and aesthetic value, in addition to its utilitarian value. Its history dates back to the Middle Bronze Age II and was found in a tomb in Samu'a, south of Hebron.
