An open terracotta lamp from the Middle Bronze Age. It is a shallow dish with its edge pinched before firing to form a place for the lighting wick. These open lamps with a single wick appeared in the Middle Bronze Age, replacing the open lamps with four nozzles. The use of these lamps continued until the end of the Iron Age when they were replaced by closed lamps.
