Pottery Lamp
Glazed pottery lamp adorned with geometric patterns on a cream-colored surface. It was found during excavations conducted by the Palestinian Antiquities Department in the cemetery adjacent to the Church of St. Mary of the Orthodox, as part of the restoration work carried out in the church. These glazed vessels were used for kitchen purposes. The glazing process involved applying a glass layer to the pottery after the initial shaping and baking, resulting in hardness and shine.
