The inscription on the outer border reads, "This dinar was minted in Palestine in the year six hundred and sixty-nine." On the reverse, a prominent dot is inside two central circles. The inner circle reads, "There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, Ali is the chosen one of Allah." The inscription on the outer border reads, "Muhammad sent him with guidance and the true religion, to manifest it over all religion, even if the polytheists dislike it."
