Daggers were used in wars and military conflicts alongside swords. A dagger is smaller than a sword. Swords and daggers appeared in the Bronze Age and their production continued into the Iron Age. They started being made of iron instead of bronze. This dagger was found with a collection of metal artifacts in a tomb dating back to the Iron Age II at the site of Al-Ubayyat, east of Bethlehem.
