Roman Gold Denarius

A Roman gold denarius (Aureus) featuring Emperor Nero on the obverse side, crowned with laurel, facing right, with Latin inscriptions around him. The reverse side shows the goddess Roma holding a dagger in her right hand and a spear in her left, with her right foot placed on weapons, and inscriptions encircling the piece. It was discovered in the village of Shabtin, west of Ramallah.
